A smaller footprint, less materials, and no overhead costs for fuel and maintenance makes a mobile bar or food cart a better choice for many new businesses. Second, mobile bars and food carts are smaller and more maneuverable than trucks, making them easier to get around in tight spaces, and can even be taken indoors! Finally, mobile bars and food carts can be set up and taken down more quickly than trucks, so they're perfect for events that don't offer a lot of time for set-up and breakdown. Whatever your reason for considering a mobile bar or food cart, keep these factors in mind to help you make the best decision for your business.

There are a few different ways to run a mobile bar business, some require a liquor license, others don’t. Generally, there are 3 options to consider: “Dry Hire”, a Licensed Partner, or Full Service.

Dry Hire: These mobile bars only rent the physical bar to the client and don’t provide or serve any alcoholic beverages at all (similar to the way an event rental business rents furniture and displays).

Licensed Partners: To simplify the process for clients, you may opt to partner with a catering company or mobile bartending service that is licensed to provide and serve alcohol.

Full Service: A liquor license or catering authorization will allow you to start a mobile bartending service of your own so you can oversee every interaction your clients have with your business.

No matter how you decide to operate your mobile bar business, it is always a good idea to have the proper paperwork and insurance policies to protect yourself from risk and ensure compliance. We recommend visiting your state’s liquor control board (or equivalent) to find what documentation is required where you’ll operate. Sometimes, it is easier to work directly with a consultant or attorney who is familiar with the liquor laws in your state.

When starting a mobile bar or food cart business, it's important to make sure your cart is customized to fit your brand. That’s why we offer extensive customization services including: aluminum exteriors in a wide array of standard colors and finishes, aluminum exteriors in custom colors from Wieland-Wrisco (you can view their full color chart here), custom-printed aluminum exteriors, vinyl logos and decals, and custom fabrics for our bimini-style awnings.

Yes! We offer custom graphics on our awnings at an additional cost. Please see our customization services for more information on how you can customize your cart.

Yes! Our Tap Cart comes with everything you need to serve beer on tap wherever you are. It comes with a jumper box and a coil, a tower, tap, drip tray with drain, and a grey 2-gallon removable tank included.

Yes! All of our carts are designed, assembled, and manufactured in the USA.

Our normal delivery takes between 8 and 12 weeks from order approval and deposit.

We always do our best to complete your cart as quickly as possible. We strive to ensure your needs are met, so feel free to reach out to us to discuss scheduling. Expedition of your order may be available with an additional cost.

We ship our carts via freight and arrange for delivery with liftgate service. Shipping costs are quoted at time of order placement.

Of course! We offer, and encourage, free local pick-up of your cart at our manufacturing facility in Milford, Connecticut.

We can make arrangements to personally deliver your new cart within 50 miles of our facility in Milford, Connecticut with an additional cost.

We aim to make your experience as seamless as possible, so there is no assembly required for most carts. If your order includes one of our optional awnings or light bars, some assembly will be required once you receive your order.

Our on-staff designers can help you to develop your brand identity and apply it to the unit for an additional cost quoted at time of order. Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions in regards to your branding your mobile business.
